I grew up in a family that did not have much.

We could not always afford little extras, but I had one very special companion: my cat.

She was more than a pet. She was family.

She stayed with me through quiet afternoons, difficult days, and many small moments of childhood that I still remember.

🤍 A Regret I Never Forgot

When I was in secondary school, she passed away.

For a long time, I carried one regret in my heart.

I wished I had been able to give her more while she was still with me:

As I grew older and started working, I adopted another cat.

Caring for her brought back many memories of the cat who grew up with me.
